Markus Heidel - Runner and author

Markus HeidlMarkus Heidel is a passionate runner.

After his first book "Bitte laufen Sie rechts ran" about running and its aspects, he now comes up with his first running thriller.
"Schrödinger's Kasten". An exciting race to the finish line at the Berlin Marathon and with a one suspect for the budding inspector Kasia.

Dr.-Ing. Markus Jürgen Heidl studied mechanical engineering at the TU Darmstadt and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne on picturesque Lac Léman in Switzerland. During this time and his subsequent doctorate, he not only discovered running for himself, but also writing, which in combination gave rise to the blog "laufen hilft!" (LAUFEN HILFT!), where he continues to diligently publish articles. Later, he added running reports for the internet portal LaufReport, for which he also writes the column "Pro & Kontra". While Markus still dreams of running a fast marathon despite a few failed attempts, that is far from his greatest dream. But read for yourself, in 31 colorful stories on over 300 exciting pages. Markus lives with his wife Svenja in southern Hesse. At the Heidl home, there are always cookies, running shoes, fruit and vegetables, books, and good humor in abundance.
