About the book (words from the author)
What I present to you here is not a biography, not a usual curriculum vitae. Because this booklet actually deals only with the time from my fortieth year, that is, a rather small section of my life. And it is not a "running book" either. Because if I only ran and wrote about it, then this book would be one of the usual running books. I decided to give my running another, a non-athletic meaning as well. Through my running, values, behaviors, opportunities, and communication about it changed, and so did all other areas of my life.
About the author
Born, raised and educated as an only child of an intact family in a small town in the Bergisches Land, Wermelskirchen. After attending elementary and later secondary school, trained as a toolmaker. Was not satisfied with that and retrained as an investment advisor. Since the beginning of the 1990s, self-employed as an investment advisor and since 2005, a private citizen with a social inclination. He is involved in refugee aid.
