- from Huelva (ES) via the Portuguese coast, Galicia, Asturias to the Basque Country further along the coast north again to Brittany to Brest (F) (2700 km).

"I could never have dreamed that after my adventures in the Baltic States and Transcaucasia I would still have the opportunity to travel Europe in detail. But it came true: I rode my road bike from Rotterdam to Brest en Bretagne, which hadn't let me go since the Kommissar Dupin crime novels. And in a second trip I started from Huelva in the Algarve again to Brest en Bretagne, this time from the south. So two wonderful journeys with together with over 4000 km Atlantic come in this book. Not only stories and encounters with the people, cultures and nature I have written down, but with a "real camera" photographed myself, so that everyone can see what I saw. A travel and adventure book for all who are interested in this world!"
